It looks like I hit 700 RRS readers finally. It has been hanging around 700 for a while now, but it finally went over and stayed there for the last week or so. I apologize but I wont be making myself a cake or anything to celebrate. My next goal is of course 800 RSS readers, but my real goal is to get 1000 RSS readers by ASW in January, which shouldn’t be too hard.
I don’t have anything worth wild to post today so I will just keep you all up to date with the shit I’m doing lately.
Buy Blog Comments Backend
I’m a newb at programming, it has taken me almost a month to make the this current backend for buyblogcomments.com. With the current backend my writers can log in and do their comments, then submit the comments to me through the backend. I then check the comments quality and if its good I send the order to the client. Its pretty much all automated for me, all I have to do is upload comments and approve comments. Pretty basic ehh?
Well now I have to add the backend for the clients. So customers can order comments using a username and pass. This way both me and the clients can keep track of the comments better. A lot of my clients are web designers or seo firms that need to gain backlinks inexpensively and quickly, so it will be better to have a backend with username/passwords. They will be able to easily check there outstanding orders, track tickets, order more orders, etc.
The hardest part for me will be doing the paypal integration and passing the variables though paypal. It should be fun. The hardest part of the current backend was getting the god damn email feature to work right. Since email spammers ruined it for all us, we now have to have everything just perfect to send lots of emails from a server. I send about 100 emails from the server a day, and the code (mostly headers shit) had to be 100% right for the emails to get into the customers inbox.
I should have the backend done this weekend sometime. Wish me luck.
Google Penalties
About 4-5 months ago my shitty content network got hit with penalties from google because I was selling text links on them. I had to sell all my sites or just get rid of them. They went from making $x,xxx a month to $x a month. I had to upgrade servers, and get new ips because it seemed like google penalized me based on the sites on the ips. I also did like 10 other things so Google or you can’t track any of my sites.
Thats all over with and now I am slowly starting to make SEO sites again. I have about 3 that are being worked on right now and I have survivorman and open guardthat I will be working on this month. The rest I wont be making public. Open guard will be an enthusiast website kinda based on my roommates platform. He made his site Horror films based of a heavily pimped out wordpress and vb integration. When the site is 100% done there will be a shit ton of stuff to do. Great platform for enthusiast websites. Open guard wont be THAT pimped out, but it will be around the same platform. The Survivorman site is just a fun site for me, I like to watch survivorman and so this site is just a side hobby. I have been testing about 3 different companies for gaining backlinks. My results are almost in. I will be doing a post reviwing the companies. Don’t worry my own sites will be excluded.

Sometimes, Google can be a brutal partner. I had a site, that was just getting good, when G smacked it down. I think I built links too fast, but it could have been for selling links as well. Hard to tell with those guys. Just keep plugging away.
