A Few Niche To Get Started On

If you are wanting to follow along with me doing my next challenge then here are some niches you can use. With the challenge I will be using a certain amount of money, probably $200, to make a website, rank it in the serps, buy traffic, and then make money off the website. The last tookle challenge I turned $200 into something like $10 a day, I could have made more if I stuck with it, but the 300$ I made ($100 profit) should have been a motivation factor in getting you to make your own websites and make dat money.

If I stuck with that tookle site to this day, I could probably be making $200 A DAY with that site. Its very possible. But you actually have to stick with a website, build quality content, get quality links, and just stick with it. Most people give up on sites. They put out the effort and make a site, put some quality content on the site, and then after a month when they have only made $15 off the site they give up. I really do see that all the time.

The trick is to obviously not give up. Well actually thats not a trick. But there is a trick which will help a few people become sucessful webmasters… the trick is to do research on your niche and pick one that has fairly low competition but high paying terms. However, most of those niches are pretty boring. That is probably one of the reasons why more people have myspace sites then sites about portable oxygen.

Anyways, I need to go finish painting my basement, so here are a few niches I did a small amount of research on and some of them look pretty good.

portable oxygen
structure settlements
payroll software
adjustable bed

And lately I have been doing some research on cabinets for my downstairs dry bar. I didn’t find too many good quality websites about “cabinets”, so that might be a good niche too.

Ok so there are 5 niches for you. Those are the niches, not the actual keywords you should go for. The longer the tail the easier it will be to rank. So if your fairly new then you should go for something like “payroll software reviews” or “portable oxygen tanks”.

Now go do your own research and pick a bad ass niche were the CPC is $2.00 and your top competitors only have 500 backlinks. ;)

If you enjoyed this blog post than I think you should subscribe to the RSS feed. That way you can learn a lot more from me and laugh some more at my really bad grammar. Again, here is the link for the RSS feed.

Nice niches, problem is they can only be monetarized with AdSense :(

No affiliate options, etc. for niches such as these. Still, they are nice for beginners.

Search & you will find. Plenty of affiliate programs for this kinda stuff. You just have to look in non typical places…

Interesting niches, I think these niches are something that you can rank a bit more easier.

But need to look at the keywords like you said. I find the adjustable bed an interesting thing to carry forward.
