Everyone gets bored. I, however, hardly ever get bored when there is Call of Duty 4 around :) , but I still get bored, and I know you get to sometimes. So why not use that time positively?

A way to use your bored time positively is having fun with longtailed keywords :) Its pretty easy to do. You don’t need to invest much time or effort and it doesn’t require any money at all. What you will be doing is finding longtailed keywords within your niche that you can write some decent content about and build some backlinks for. If you want you can even register a new domain and make a whole site about a long tailed keyword. I know some keywords that you can get 500 uniques a day for with little effort. I have a whole list..but sorry I’m not sharing.

This is also a great way to learn how to make money using SEO, this is simple and will get you on the road to learning SEO. Lets get started:

1. Open adwords and find some longtailed keywords within your niche that are easy to rank for and send decent traffic. You can do that by just looking at the google results and seeing how targeted the competition is for the keyword and how many backlinks the competition has.

2. Next, make a subpage on your site with the keyword within the URL (example: domain.com/longtailed-keyword.html). Now,, write a decent article about the subject at hand. The better the content the better. The better the content is, the more likely you are to get linked from (natural backlinks). Make sure to SEO your page and make sure all the keywords are placed properly. Never over-SEO a page. Google is smarter than you think.

3. Build backlinks for your subpage. You can use blog comments, link exchanges, keyword real estate, etc. Make sure to get a decent amount.

4. Let time do its thing, don’t rush the SE results. You will get penalized. It might take a month or so before you get that number 1 spot. But always go for the 1st spot, remeber the rest are worthless.

Depending on your keyword you can bring in some decent traffic to your website, and you can do that all within an hour or so. And everyone knows that traffic equals money. And if your new to SEO than try this out for some long tailed keywords. Try and use an existing website, it will take more work to get a brand new website ranked. Have fun.

If you enjoyed this blog post than I think you should subscribe to the RSS feed. That way you can learn a lot more from me and laugh some more at my really bad grammar. Again, here is the link for the RSS feed.

A little tip for finding good, easy keywords. Think abbreviations. Many people are lazy and will abbreviate anything they can. I had a brand new site getting 100 u/v a day within a week with no links to it at all. I didnt even want the damn thing indexed yet becuase it wasnt finished. Not sure how google found it.

Doing SE you must be patient, but it’s very true that longtail can bring in a nice amount of traffic, there is less competition and most important you will probably ranked fast!

With such websites, I usually use some XSS exploit to get backlinks from trusted websites. I get the XSS exploit indexed through a blogger blog. Mix it with a couple of whitehat backlinks, and that’s all.
Google doesn’t like it very much but yahoo loves it, I can get 100-200 uv per day on a 10 pages website from long tail keywords, all organic coming from yahoo.

I never used XSS to get links, just did some looking. Loks interesting. I have a ton of ways to get free links. Although most are spammish.
