Wow this year Christmas season sucks! Its the 14th of the month and where is all that traffic that comes this time of year? Each one of my sites have gone down in traffic just a little bit since winter hit. I wonder if its because of the audience I target or is there less people online this year?
However, my test sites are sure paying off.. I’m up to $150 plus a day now! About 110% of that is profit, woot! I think that this is the right time of year for those sites.
In other news. I have been working pretty hard this last week revamping Developer Hut Network. I have kicked out all the sucky sites and I am adding content to all the sites that have a fighting chance. My goal is by Jan. 1st I should have a network with good content. Then I will start advertising all my network sites hardcore. I’m not focused on advertising right now, purely content.
Tell me what you guys think about the sites in the network toolbar please. I need your input (user input)!
Let me introduce the new sites on the network to you..
Zickes.Com - This site will be like google.com/ig. It will have a google search that I make money from. It will also have RSS Feeds of some of the top news sources..
NewToTech.Com - This site will be my tech/webmaster forum. I am hoping to get this site big to funnel the traffic throughout my network. Also in hopes of to form a brand with the network.
SportsChannelTalk.Com - The forum is dead right now, but I hope to make it active and get tons of people taking about sports.
MySpaceImageCodes.Com - I have been getting to many emails from ppl asking to take there photos off and shit like that so I took the image hosting service off and I’m going to make another myspace site. This site had 20k members when I deleted everyone. It only makes me 10$ a day. Not worth the resources.
BuzzBums.Com - This site need work. I failed at my first plan of it being a RSS directory. So now I will be turning it to a news source. I will have my own writers and content, along with tons of other rss feeds. I will start working on this site after Christmas.
I wont be adding anymore websites to the network until these sites play out..
I also have an entirely different project going on with my roommate that should pay off! We are hoping to make 2k-3k an month with it. Which reminds me, keep your eyes open and there are a lot of ways to make money! You have to have a great work ethic however! But if your doing something you love then you don’t work a day in your life, haha..
And finally, I would like to mention that my idea of an entire new network with revenue share with the users is going to be happening. It will launch on Jan. 1st with a few websites in the network. The week before Jan. 1st I will tell you guys everything about it..
Something a bit off topic, but does anyone else think that MTV’s new shows Rob and Big, and TwentyFourSeven are badass? Those shows are awesome! My shout out to MTV for the great reality shows. Just those 2, I hate all the other reality shows on MTV, such as The Real World, Road Fool, etc. They can all suck my hairy balls!

Are you only using 7 search for these tests? How many sites are you running?
Hey There! The two forums look good. I’ve used google’s adsense search feature in the past, however I never got around to really customizing it so people stick around on it. Best of luck with that. I look forward to seeing your new network in 07′.

Just a quick math question. If you make $150 a day how can $165 a day be your profit? Should that be $110 profit and not 110%?

Michael, haha I just caught that also, I did that wrong. About 110$ of that is profit..
We were in the same boat with our myspace resource site, google adsense was paying real lousy….and we almost sold it.
We put up clicksor ads, with the pop under code and it’s now earning it’s keep. Pop unders are annoying, but I think the market for that type of site will put up with them.
I actually think this week has been better than most I hope it keeps up1
