I haven’t done any updated on my crib in a while. But first I will tell you about some other shit first. Not a lot has been going on, just been doing SEO work the last week, and its been helping (4th down). However, seems like YPN dont like to display ads on some of my websites such as NewToTech and Wordpress Layouts. It may be a bug in there system, but whatever it is, its costing me money! Im going to email them tonight too see whats up. Let me update you on some other adventures going on..
BuzzBums
This site is looking good, very slowly getting more traffic and more members. I usually get about 10 applications a day, and I only accept the ones that have the best content. Sorry if your website didn’t get in. I do have a blog on there, but thats dead, so I might take it off. I think people go there to look at the directory more than the unique content that I provide people on the site.
Im excited to say that I have a great idea for the website to boost exposure! I cant say what it is, but I will tell you that its a great idea and I have no clue why any other blog communities haven’t done it yet. Im looking for a programmer to partner with, since I haven’t been making any money off the website, I dont want to spend the money to get the programming done. And its gonna be a lot of work, but I know it will work great! I will keep everyone updated on this.
NewToTech
This is my only real community, and its not looking good. I don’t usually go to forums that much, I rather read/comment on blogs. So that is one of the reasons for the decline of this website. However, I do have some ideas to get this site going. I will be adding a blog that will be updated every other day. That along with some article will definitely help this community grow. I also need to make this forum different from the rest somehow, I dont have an idea for this yet. But right now I am competing with LOTS of other tech forums, so I need to find something that is unique and exposure it to get some activity.
Myspace Sites
These sites are going great. The SEO work is helping. Along with more bulletin posts and link buying, they should be up to normal in no time.
Other Projects
Like I have said before, I have stuff going on in the background. As of right now Im not doing much. Google doesnt like me so Im trying to find another way to make money. The aff links I have going on are working decent, they will make me some nice extra cash this month. The only problem is that the place im “advertising” my aff links at, they have all signed up for the products, and there arnt that many potential clients left. Oh well, I just need to keep working.
Landscaping
Man this shit is fun! Its warm out here in Idaho, so I have been planting tree’s and shrubs, and getting ready to build a $3,000 fucken fence, a sprinkler system, and grass. Right now I have 2 x 15′ populars in the backyard, along with like 13 small evergreens. In the front I have 2 Maple tree’s, along with 2 birch. I am also planning on making a little berm and putting 2 more birch tree’s on that. Like I said, this stuff is fun. I didn’t realize how fun it is until I actually been doing it. Im also going to build a 3′ pond in the front yard and slap some 2′ koi in there hehe.
I have been working on the sprinkler system the last 2 days. So far I have it all planned out in the front yard, I just have to have the kind people at the sprinkler system place look over my system, too see if it will work great. This is the first sprinkler system that I have ever done, and its getting easier to do as I learn more about it.
I got a quote on the fence today and its gonna cost me about 3k for the vinyl fence with the tan in the middle. I didn’t know they where that much, that price is for me installing it too. Its about $15.00 per foot. Damn that’s a lot of money haha. It will be great when its done, help cut out the wind and dirt.

I totally disagree, landscaping sucks ass… at least where I live. I’m moving from a house to a loft condo just because I hate having to moe the grass, rake the leaves, and all that other crap, and the fact that it’s 120F+ here in the summer time makes it horrid… Your house is looking good though!
I dont mind worken though. I love worken outside. But here it only gets to be 100 degrees at the hottest, however its always cold here..
I love a nice lawn, I should really have become a lawn mower, they make a nice living and I enjoy cutting the grass. That smell right after you’ve finished cutting it, absolutely beautiful, someone should make a cologne that smells like it, killer

Then maybe you should expand a little bit. I don’t know where you live, but let’s say, for laughs sake, you lived in upstate New York like I do. We have a newspaper that is from a city a few towns over from where I live that is the ‘areas’ big paper. Then, of course, there’s the New York Times, the New York Post, the New York (whatever!). Maybe if you tried to get your ad into a newspaper or into one of those papers, you’d see your affiliate links skyrocket. Expand…Make some phone calls. There are LOADS of newspapers all over the nation. Try it out.

Did you get my Email? Also, I think landscaping both sucks and is very fun at the same time. It is like playing in the dirt with toy cars…except their is a lot more work involved.
I really would have to pay some neighborhood kid to do most of that stuff for me. Mowing the lawn isn’t my thing at all lol
Excellent post. Nice mix of business and the fruits of business. Designing your yard and planting it is the fun part. That’s a lot different than just mowing grass. I bet more than a few commenters on here could use a little physical labor. The weather in Idaho must be great this time of year. It’s already hot down here in South Florida, not fun at all.
I would have to agree with Robert about landscaping sucking. When I moved into my new house, I had no backyard put in. My father, brother, and I had to dig trenches (we didn’t have the machine that dug trenches for you), put together all the piping for sprinklers, and lay down grass and plant trees. It was the worst time in my life. My back was aching, it was hot, and it was hard labor. I would never want to do that for a living.

I dont mind mowing, its not that bad. I used to mow a few lawns back in high school to make some extra cash.
