Goals & Motivation

What make people successful? When 2 people with the exact same background get out of high school, what makes one person more successful than the other? Most people will say its education, or how smart you are, and your mentors. All those have a HUGE impact on how successful you are. But the biggest way to success is how motivated you are and how well you set and meet goals.

Now for me, I have been motivated my whole life to make money. Since I was 14 I had a job and I had to buy everything myself. I had to pay for my gas, food, clothes, etc. I’m not saying that was bad. It made me work a lot harder to get money. Now a few years ago I would have never expected to be where I am at now. I got here accidentally. What I did was motivate myself to earn money. I worked at Wendy’s 30 hours a week and then went home and work online during high school. After high school I took a year off and worked full time at The Home Depot and then went home and worked 40 hours a week online. I got so burnt out. All that work was from me motivating myself to have a better life, and make more money. It worked. I work 40 hours a week online for myself. And the money is great.

When I worked at The Home Depot, I remember setting and writing specific goals for myself. I would make a list of what I had to do ( I still do ). I have a planner that I write what I had to do and when I had to do them. I also have a thing of post it notes to write what I had to do. And I have a thing of letter paper that I write ideas on and look back at them every so often. But when I worked at The Home Depot, I would give myself monthly goals such as “by January make $50 a day”. Then I would give myself weekly goals such as “make a turnkey content site and then sell for $200″. And I always accomplished those goals. Then I would write down in my planner what I had to do daily. Such as “update site x”, “add more content to site Y”, “make another site”, and etc.

I have heard many times that people who succeed know how to plan there time really well. So I have been working on that. However I have been really suborn with that. My plan is to work 8 -5 on my websites. But what I end up doing is sleeping all day, playing in the afternoon, and working 10-5 am. haha. Well it works, but I need to work on spending my time.

Now I’m writing this in my blog because I feel that the reason why I am doing so good right now is because I set goals for myself, and I am really motivated in life. I want everyone to start setting goals for themselves. Whether its “go to college, get decent grades, then get a decent job”. That’s still setting goals.

Right now my goals are to have all my sites updated and 3 of them redesigned, add tons of content to 4 of my sites, make 3 new sites, and keep my earnings at $700 a day this month (June). My long term goal is to have some real estate, own a business (Developer Hut, Inc.), have a day job (real estate agent), and be worth a million dollars by 25 year old.

I wrote this article to show what makes people successful. Its been proven by me. Now you need to take it up on yourself and motivate yourself and set goals in your life.

In other news, I am currently getting loseralliance.com redesigned. The design is done and my coder has started on a css version. I will be updating loseralliance.com a lot this week. I will work on blogloser.com next week. I also have 2 new websites coming out. And I am still workin on Operation Big Bertha. :)

Can you please explain what you are doing to make over $700.00+ per day. I’m very interested in learning. Thanks! Keep up the good work.
