I also think that mutual funds are shit. By the way IRAs and 401ks are usually invested in mutual funds. Why is this bad? Because in 2016 the first of the baby boomer generation is going to be REQUIRED to pull out a certain amount of money. For example, let’s say that 1,000,000 people are going to have to start taking 500$ a month out of they 401k (mutual funds) per month. that’s 1/2 a billion dollars being pulled out of the market EVERY month.. that might have a small effect on the economy…
Or maybe I’m a paranoid.. that could be…
