Please note that the previous Google Analytics interface will no longer be accessible as of July 18th.

Anyone have any suggestions for other good stat tracking software, doesn’t even have to be free. Just need something reliable and not google :)

If you enjoyed this blog post than I think you should subscribe to the RSS feed. That way you can learn a lot more from me and laugh some more at my really bad grammar. Again, here is the link for the RSS feed.

And for something quick and basic you might also want to install this plugin for wordpress (made by automattic, the same guys that make akismet):

May I ask why you don’t like Analytics?

Another one I’ve used is http://statcounter.com/

Haha…he doesn’t like analytics just cuz it’s Google.

It’s not that the new interface is bad in my opinion…it’s just different. It is a lot harder to read certain details though, like which specific city visitors are from and referring sites/keywords.

I actually like the new Analytics interface.

I also use two of the other stat trackers mentioned above, Mint and StatCounter. They all have their own differences and benefits.

I love the new Analytics interface, but to be honest if I didn’t have that I would probably just use awstats. And wouldn’t be complaining.

I switched over to reinvigorate.net, free a lot like Google. You might need register for beta, but I was accepted within a day or two.

I use reinvigorate.net (like someone said before), the new program ‘Snoop’ they released is really good. Mint is good too (but its a paid one) and getclicky.com is also good (and free).

Why don’t you use Extreme?

Also, you sent me a text message over MSN about dev work. Do you still need work done?

I use StatCounter and so far I haven’t really had any problems with them. And also it is easier to comprehend and grab data from than Analytics.

I’ve been using getclicky.com - not as full featured as I would like, but still has some great aspects to it.

I use feedburner for my blog posts and RSS. Yes, they are Google now, but the stats are cool. You can try sitemeter too, they work well, but the reports are kinda lame.

Since you ask, Clicktracks is a great web analytics tool. Fair disclosure, I used to work with them (I used them for a year before I went to work for them though) and there are a lot of benefits vs. Google. Its not free but its private and it gives you the ability to really slice, dice and segment your traffic.

I am using statistics running by the cPanel. It should be in your hosting account, I have there like 4 different statistic programs.

i feel you Jon, i think something is off on my Analytics because my stats in one program is showing higher traffic than my Analytics… wtf?

Yeah I gotta admit I love the new Analytics interface.
