Its been all over digg.com and I bet you have probably heard by now that Bear Grylls‘ show Man Vs Wild is completely set up (you can say fake). I have never had anything had a problem with Mr. Grylls, if thats his real name, his show seemed to dramatic for a survival show, not too many people parachute into a random mountain in the alps. But now since reading how set up the show is, I have lost respect for his show, the whole sleeping in a hotel while filming thing kinda does it to a me.
I’m not much of those taking sides kinda guy (Chevy vs ford, Mac vs Microsoft, Ron Paul vs the other fags) but Survivorman has my vote any day. He goes into the wild and shows you how to survive! Plus he doesn’t have a camera team to give him food and water after a hard days work. Granted he isn’t as dramatic as Bear, but I think I have learned more from Les than Bear. Seems like Bear goes and climbs everything in sight, Les shows you how to build shelter, build fires, etc.
Now what does this do anything with the web? Well looking up some domains I found that the domain Survivorman.org was available. So I had to purchase it and build a small fan site. Again, I mostly use my fan sites for link weight for my other money making websites. But I will keep this one up to date and add in some wallpapers, videos, articles, and hopefully and interview someday. If you like the outdoors than please sign up for the Survivorman forums.
What a great find huh? Oh also if you looking for a good laugh check this out, Man vs. Wild meets Survivorman
If you enjoyed this blog post than I think you should subscribe to the RSS feed. That way you can learn a lot more from me and laugh some more at my really bad grammar. Again, here is the link for the RSS feed.

You have to remember though, Bear Grylls is ex sas, which is (according to wikipedia) “arguably the most well trained special forces unit in current existence” so all that stuff that he does that seems to crazy to us (like eating raw, live fish he just caught) probabaly seems pretty normal to him.
Good post. Now I just have some reading to do
You’re lucky you have the money to purchase the domain without thinking twice…

I like the idea of the small fansites. I agree that Bear Grylls spends a lot of time showing us how he climbs cliffs and stuff instead of giving us more tips and instructions.
Fake? hmm.. I dunno.. It could be reality
