Welp, this is the first month of many were I will start displaying my blog’s income and Developer Hut, Inc. Network income report. I own and operate about 20 content websites and about 3 e-commerce websites under DeveloperHut.com. The content sites aren’t what make me the cash money, its the e-commerce websites. But there also the sites that take up the most of my time.
Last month my blog, jonwaraas.com, made me $630.00. Which is an amount that I am extremely happy with! I have made an extra $25 without gaining too many rss readers. Which sucks and I need to work on that. I made about $330 from private ads, about $250 from paid reviews, and another $50 or so from affiliate programs. My best affiliate program is GetClickys’ which makes me a constant $20 a month. Here is a chart to show you where my blog stats are at:
Now with Developer Hut, Inc. Last month was a pretty good month compared to what I though it was going to be. Last month I went on a week long vacation to Phoenix, AZ, It didn’t slow orders down that much but it slowed orders down a bit because it took me longer to reply to support emails. My server also went down for a few hours last Thursday which probably took some orders away from me. Last month I also had a problem with Paypal where I had to update my account to receive and send anymore money, my account was down for 3 days and that probably lost me $1,000 worth of orders which sucks really bad. Other than those 3 problems last month was alright.

I would like you to remeber that this is net, this is also with me taking 7 days off work and 3 days of paypal downtime. I also do arbitrage which I didnt add into the figures, so this isnt exactly how much I make every month 
. But I am very happy with these stats, but expect April to be around $17,000. I am launching 2 new e-commerce sites and also optimizing my current e-commerce sites a little bit more. I will also be launching affiliate programs on all e-commerce sites which should improve revenue by a lot.

Have you ever talked about your e-commerce sites? You should do a post on them (without giving anything away, obviously). For example, are they physical products or eBooks, site software, etc - I haven’t seen many posts anywhere covering this

Great job on bringing in the big bucks. That definitely works out to a nice yearly income. I agree with Rob’s comment above, you should do a post on your e-commerce sites. Would be interesting to know which approach you are taking (dropship, e-book, software, etc.)?

I would like to know more about the e-commerce sites too! As I’ve said in previous comments, I get the feeling most of your readers want to see examples and “how to’s” on making a profitable site.
so what exectly do you sell that’s one of the thing about these make money online sites they don’t disclose there info on making money online then what the point to talk about making mony online all your doing then is talking about what everyone else is tlaking about

Wow, those are some big numbers.
More RSS readers does help bring back visitors that have already been to your site. It is kind of like a bookmark on steroids. If running PPC, most of those people won’t click your ads, especially if they already have once. Say you have 200 RSS readers, then you may see like 1,000 extra hits per month. The amount you are bringing in looks really good. I would suggest doing more reviews on products that offer you a commission. Maybe one per week for starters? This will help reach your RSS readers also.
You could add a few more methods to monetize your site. If you don’t, you may see your profits topping off soon. Possibly at $1000. Overall, 1k is a good amount for extra income for someone working a full time job as well. For someone trying to make a living off of their site, it wouldn’t even pay my house payment for me.
Monetize the site a little more. Pay for some advertising on high traffic sites. Push your content on social networks. Offer a few contests. maybe 1 per month for starters. Also, with you getting good stats off this site, you could start another one on the side in a different niche. Maybe even just an affiliate site selling gadgets, watches, or clothes or something. Use the traffic from this site to piggyback. If you get it just as successful as this site, then you could be seeing a total of $2,000 per month!
