I have looked at many sites and not come a cross such a site as yours that tells you what you really need to know about affiliate marketing.

Only problem I have doing this locally is the “regular Joe” hardly ever understands the double opt-in. I fixed this by providing a screenshot on what to click in the e-mail on the thankyou page.

From my long past of doing internet marketing it has always seem to be the email lists and the return customers that will make you the most money. I focus my marketing to gain the emails, then once I gain the emails I focus marketing my products to them.

Say I have an adwords campaign, and I am paying $1.00 per click, if someone buys a $5 product and I make -$1.50 on the transaction I will still be happy because I will have a great targeted return buyer to market to. If the same person just enters there email address I will be very happy to, even though it cost me $1 (per click) to gain that email, because I have a targeted person to market to.

The system works great for me at least, I just wish I did it this whole time :-s

Well actualy in the actual content of the website I never ask people to enter there email addresses. Instead I have the 2 lead forms above the folder that state something like “Enter your email to be emailed info we cant post publicly” or say if you have a painting business… “Enter your email to be sent a list of painters in your area that have ripped other people off.”… you need something that makes the person curious and want to enter there email.

Discount codes is a great idea, thanks for bringing that up

Just one thing isn’t totally clear for me: what is your approach (in the copy) to get an email from the review site?

I’m getting my optins offering discount codes, and I can do that because I resell the products…

PS: You should install the plugin to get emails alerts when someone respond a comment
