On sept. 4. 2006 Steve Irwin died near Port Douglas, Queensland, Australia, while shooting documentary footage when a stingray barbed him in the chest.
I have been watching documentaries on Steve today with my girlfriend. I really liked the guy. He never did anything for the fame or money. He started out by helping his dad move crocodiles from populated area into secluded areas in Australia when he was a kid. Thats how he got his famous name “Crockidle Hunter”. With his fame he turned his familys little farm into a huge zoo. He also has a lot of real estate in Australia and other parts of the world. His income was 1.5 million dollars weekly! Thats a lot of money!
