SE Checking - Great Idea!

This is a paid plug. More info about paid plugs on the advertising page.

SeChecking.com ordered a ReviewMe from me, and while looking at the site I was thinking “why didn’t I think of this?”. Its a great idea, and infact I will most likely be purchasing there first package from them.

What they do is simple (well not the programming). You give them a certain amount of keywords and then they monitor each one, and then send out a email to you daily on how your rankings for the keywords are doing. Really useful for someone who lives off the money generated by your SERPS rankings. I know I at least check 5 rankings daily to see how they are doing, not to mention another 10 keywords that I’m trying to rank for. So this is most definably useful.

I do think that there packages are a bit expensive, you only get 20 keywords for $20.00. Hopefully they will lower there rates in the future.

There packages:

20 keywords
= $19.95
50 keywords = $37.95
100 keywords = $49.95

As for the website, it needs a bit work. There needs to be more content, such as filling out the FAQ page more. They need to work on there spelling, such as “Now there are scanned the first 10 pages (100 results) in search engines.”. They need to make there blog look better. Take off the related websites (or link exchanges?). Other than that the site looks decent.

So, if you ever need an easyier way to check your SE rankings, try out SE Checking!

If you enjoyed this blog post than I think you should subscribe to the RSS feed. That way you can learn a lot more from me and laugh some more at my really bad grammar. Again, here is the link for the RSS feed.

good idea! I do this manually right now. Shoemoney has a serps tool, but it doesnt keep a history or anything.

It’s ridiculous to use their paid service when there is a free version of that.

SERP Tracker by Sitening does exactly the same thing as this guy does. The only difference is SERP Tracker is completely free. :)

My bad, actually Sitening’s tool is doing more than that (e.g., backlink analysis, SEO report etc).. lol

It can be a very useful tool for people who don’t have the time to check their stats every day and I would recommend having some interesting “bulk discounts” for the big players.

I just bought serpsmonitor.com to make a free version of this site. Probably a bit more features… but cheers to this fellow trying to make a few bucks.

I am working on building something like this. The big change is it monitors who is in the top 10 and how long they’ve been there. It catalogs the sites in the top ten, and let you quickly know who your top competition is across the engines. Even flagging new top 10 sites so you can see how they’re getting there and react to it. I’m not currently planning on making it public, but I could GPL it if there is interest.

I heard they wanted $41 a share. They are a failing company there is no way they can come back and compete with google. Time to throw in the towel.
