That would be self-sufficient because your not taking IN any power, it's making its own. And heat would be...woodburning? That's not plugged into a 3rd party utility either. If you're getting your water from a private well (as most people in Wyoming do), then you're not linked to a utility for that eitehr. I'm not sure if its the same in the US, but here in the UK the really rural areas don't always have access to hi speed internet.
