I was talking to my buddie Andrew the other day about getting his incoming links from myspace profiles that link to his myspace website indexed so he can get more backlinks for his myspace website, if that makes sense? He has about 300,000 myspace profiles that aren’t indexed. He was going to use Eli’s QUIT tool, Squirt, and Pingomatic. However, I told him about the fucken awesome power of pings.
If you have a website that gets ton of shitty converting traffic, such as a myspace site, you have a potential SEO goldmine. With this tactic, you must know how to program php. With that knowledge we can begin… and I’m too lazy to write the whole process down in a normal blog form, so here is a list of what you do.
1. Grab all the URL’s and put it into a database. (The more the better 100k +)
2. Make a php script that will ping your favorite blog sites with your urls in the db. Make sure that you randomize the urls so that you wont ping the same URL on the same site that many times, they will get mad if you are sending them a bunch of pings to the same url. Also make sure that the script it pinging from the USERS IP and not your servers IP.
3. Now, on your website add an hidden iframe (0 px’s by 0 px’s) that calls the script.
What will that do? If you have a website that gets 2,000 unquies a day, that is 2,000 pings to different urls that you have just made from other peoples IP addresses, that way your IP wont get banned. And also remember to use a bunch of different URL’s in your db, you don’t want to over ping them and have your website banned.
How will this help you? The pings will tell the blog sites that there is new content on your websites, so they will send there spiders to check the shit out. After they index ya, good old google, yahoo, and msn will come along and visit your website aswell.
How will this help Andrew? Well getting those 300k myspace profiles indexed will be a bitch. The pings should help him get them indexed so it will help his websites rank better in google. Yay!
And finally, where did you come up with this? Getyacg forums and this blog post plus my imagination all combined. But I bet the pros have been doing something like this for ages.
Also, if you want to increase your websites rank in google, check out this blog comment service. Owned by me of course.

pretty cool
Yeah it’s clever, but I don’t see how you will make much with these pages. Maybe I’m wrong. I think these pages will fall out of the index again pretty fast.
So have you written any code to do this?
Marc – What andrew is doing is getting the myspace profiles indexed that link to his myspace sites, that way he will get more backlinks and move up in the serps in google.
Tommy- I actually do
Jon, would you be ok with sharing that code?
Well, you can always try to sell that code somewhere…let us know though
Wow! Sometimes I really wonder how you guys come up with such ideas!
