MFA (made for adsense) are small websites with usually scraped content (free web articles, news releases, wikipedia, etc) or free turnkey scripts (directory’s, database scripts, humor sites, etc) that are purely made to display adsense, yahoo publisher network, peak click, or whomever you would like. For SEO these sites are usually made for long tailed searches. And for SEM these are made for landing page.

I myself (Jon Waraas) use these sites a lot. They are very easy to turn a profit with. All you have to do is make a simple template and put all the ads above the fold, you can then spam the site and get ranked for some longtailed searches. You can also use these sites with cheap paid traffic, most of the time users just keep clicking around and they will click one of your ads to try and go somewhere else.

People use these sites with turnkey scripts such as free directory sites or free search engine sites. However some people use small CMS’s and make actually mini websites which usually consists of about 5-10 pages of scraped content that they got from free web article sites or wikipedia. Then you just flood the website with ads.
