Using dofollow is still a good thing. I also use a handy little widget that is located inside my brain called URL Stripper I’m sure spammers have gotten through my gates, but I have stripped my fair share of URLS from my comments as well.

I think it is a good idea in theory, it all depends on how it is executed though. I am interested to see how it will pan out in the future.

I won’t use such a service but I can’t complain too much about it.

As long as the comments pertain to the post it isn’t a huge deal, even though I will be deleting any that I detect and I’m sure others will as well.

This is something that is usually kept in the background of blogging, Jon has just brought it to the front. Probably something I wouldn’t personally do, but I don’t think it’s illegal.

It has made me 2nd guess using dofollow for comments, though. Even thought it sounds like from the description on the site they don’t care whether or not a site has dofollow turned on.

It sounds like people who have worked to get a good ranking, etc. are just upset because new people to the game can now buy the same status they spent 100’s of hours doing.

Anyway, that’s just my thoughts. This is all link-bait if you hadn’t noticed.
