Oh yeah, ill tell you what, worken 10 hours a day, 7 days a week is so fun! But hey, I am now producing 30% better for my daily average. That’s good. And I am still branching out from myspace.com websites (cas Im going to make this last forever ;) ). I have 5 websites coming out this month. Here they are:

Operation Big Bertha
www.phpbbcodes.com
www.movieloser.com
www.tagworldloser.com
www.xangaloser.com

Lots of work ehh? Tell me about it ;)
OK, so your probably wondering about the title of this blog ehh? Well i’m going to tell ya.

I have been looking into investing and starting up a snow cone business. Now since nobody in my own town reads this blog, and I don’t care about other people doing it in there hometown. So i’m going to go through every set of the way with you guys. Oh, for the information, my girlfriend hates this idea of me running a snow cone hut thingy. But I’m always up for new experiences.

I’m going to call some sources and write a business plan tonight or tomorrow. I will have the business plan readable on the Internet, since I don’t have any competition. However, I will take it off when next year comes, since I will be starting it next year.

… I am open for suggestions on this snow cone business, please be open and tell me what you think…

If you enjoyed this blog post than I think you should subscribe to the RSS feed. That way you can learn a lot more from me and laugh some more at my really bad grammar. Again, here is the link for the RSS feed.

I would say to make sure you are in a good location where it gets hot out and place yourself in the most busiest location that you can find. I personally like snow cones but some people do not so if you do start it up I would suggest getting some other stuff that you can buy bulk of for cheap and sell for more.

It will not fail depending on the location. I go to one of these in the willow springs area of Illinois. It is a simple stand in a parking lot. The size is somewhere around 10×12 total… at night the place is mobbed, you can hardly find parking. It is a great idea and this stand has to be making a fortune. They offer 3 sizes and areound 50 or so different flavors. So basically it is a stand, crushed ice, styrofoam cups and syrup.

Im going to take away this “anonymous” posting thingy. I cant tell who is who.

But anyways, I am still researching this. I have a few phone calls to make before I post the business plan online.

Location is the key, the better the location the more traffic the business will get.

I have a few of them in town. But they are all the same. Just snow cones. Well, im going to have either coke/pepsi or shakes… still lookin into that also. I am also going to have a theme, like a hawaiian theme. So I will paint the tariler hawaiian style and have little umprellas in the snow cones (hahaha) and have the employees sportin hawaiian shirts. Oh yeah…

anyways, keep the comments up. I have been super busy doing other random stuff. (went on a 8 mile hike today). I will post some more smart kinda posts. Not this, blah blah I worked on blah blah today. haha

I think it could work but I am wondering why you want to do it, because it is not a year round business.

Mainly because I havent been worken this web design stuff like a job. Say like one week I put in 50 hours, the next I can put in like 10 hours. If I get organized and work 30 hours a week. Then I can also work 40 hours a week at a snow cone hut.

I am a workaholic btw…

and the season here last from may to august…

Hi, I am the proud owner of a snow cone business. I love it. It’s simple, it’s easy and it’s profitable. I am located in a very very very small town in Alabama, we don’t even have a redlight here, and my business is booming. visit http://www.southernsnow.com when looking for a trailer but buy your flavors from snow wizzard, they are both located in New Orleans………..oh, don’t add anything else, just sell the cones……………If you’d like to email me with questions fell free to do so. Good luck.

So is the machine from Southern snow better than the snow wizzard machine and what kind of volume can one machine handle in one day?

How much profit are we talking about? How much is startup? You guys with trailors, can you setup anywhere or do you have to have permission to setup in a certain parking lot?

I am in a very, very small town in Texas but I have a spot right at the corner of the only red light. We have alot of pass thru traffic to Austin, Texas. We make rustic furniture there. It gets really hot in the summer around here and thought that a snow cone stand would be “cool” :) Thought I would let my son run it when he is out of school. Can you send me cgray61096 email address I would like to ask for some recommendations on a machine and flavors. I would like to run it off the grid with a solar panel and 12v deep cycle battery.

I am also looking into doing a snow cone shop here in Idaho.I think you have a good plan and stay with it.But i also think if you were to put one by a park or in a neaberhood you would do great.Moms and dads like to take there kids for short walks. What better place then to your snow cone shop.Tora
