A lot of people in the blog community were upset because they felt that these paid blog comments that my new company are offering are unfair because I was getting money out of it, and the bloggers were only getting free blog comments (content for their blogs).
I have a solution for everyone. I have started a new blog directory were bloggers can add their blogs, but that is not all. Once we get enough blogs in that database, we will strictly use that database to post the free blog comments onto. Its a win-win situation for everyone, the bloggers get a free backlink and free comments to help boost their blog, and I won’t have to “force” my service upon bloggers.
BUT, the downfall is that Buy Blog Comments is already kinda of a big service. I won’t say how many comments we have done so far, but it has been over 20,000 blog comments. Plus we are talking to people about bulk ordering. Those reasons are why I haven’t blogged in 2 weeks and raised my prices on Buy Blog Comments dot com. So, back to the point, the problem is that I won’t be able to start using this new directory for blog comments until we get enough blogs in the database, and I am not joking around when I say at least 5,000 blogs in the database.
Is that possible? Sure it is silly. How will I do it? I will do my part and start SEO’ing the directory, I will try and get it up to a PageRank 7 or 8. That will be a sure way of getting bloggers. But, the best way to get blogs in the database is to start telling your friends about this new directory/service. Word of mouth is the best advertising
If you guys want to make this work, help me get 5,000 blogs in that database, then I will start using that database for Buy Blog Comments. Until than, I will be using my current database of blogs.
If you enjoyed this blog post than I think you should subscribe to the RSS feed. That way you can learn a lot more from me and laugh some more at my really bad grammar. Again, here is the link for the RSS feed.

You must be 1 big fool if you think people are going to sign up for the privilege of getting spammed..
This is hilarious
Wesley, you’re an idiot.
Let’s see why would I want to sign up for this directory… free back links, free content, and free SEO. Yeah. For a few decent comments.
As I said, Wesley, fuck off.
Do you like how I keep all my comments? hehe
Its not spam btw..
Jon,
I think this is a pretty good solution. However, you need to add some more categories to the directory. I’m looking forward to seeing how this works out for you and for the publishers getting comments.
Reference - for information sites
Education - Education related sites
>Foreign Languages - sub category of education
Jon, I was somewhat critical of the comment quality on your previous post, but I will say that I think this is really good idea. I’m not sure how it will work out, but it soes sound like a win-win solution if there ever was one. I think quality can increase over time and little tweals here and there will allow the service to gradually improve. Yep, I really like this idea, and hope it’s successful.
I’ll give it a go and see what happens, while the quality of the comments aren’t great, they aren’t looking too spammy either.
Jon,
At least you are addressing bloggers issues.
I think the big worry is that the comments will all be spam. By spam I mean short meaningless comments shut as ‘great work, sounds good’ etc that are generic and could apply to anything.
The other type are comments that are completely unrelated ie buy veeeagraar etc.
If on the other hand comments are related and at leat a short paragraph then I really think this is a win win situation.
Bearing in mind you already have 100’s of other comment spammers that use bots to blatantly spam. At least Jon is drawing a line.
I would consider adding my blog if
1) You could opt-out at any point
2) The quality of comments are good (see above)
hey i think its a great idea, let me know when i can sign up for free i hope!!
Jon, I thought I offered to work with you on something similar? My idea was to build a search engine that would index a number of blogs and allow you to use it to find posts that would be suitable for spa, I mean commenting on.
Yes, I know your directory can have a search function, but my search engine would crawl and index all or most of the blogs that are added to it.
This would allow your staff to find things they want to comment on easily. Like say, do a search for “ipods” when you want to comment on them. This would allow you to make better comments since you would be commenting on topics your staff knows and has real things to comment about.
Anyway, I’m still interested if you are. Let me know!
This whole buying blog comments thing is very interesting and very entrepreneurial. Kudos for thinking it up…
I’m wondering though, how time consuming is this business? Because you boast on writing quality comments, you probably can’t survive on “form letter” type of comments, which means you and your team would have to spend a bit of time on each. So at 25 cents each comments, is it worth the time?
Nevertheless, GOOD JOB for thinking up this business.
Good response to everyone… sounds like a plan. Of course you’ll still get the people that complain but sounds like the business is going according to plan. Stay up bro…
Good Solution, but is it possible to retract your url at anytime??
Jon creates a problem, then creates a solution for it. Brilliant ;).
Sounds good. I think I convert my sites to blog and submit it there. You are on the right way now.
Nice balance, I am off to signup
Very good site! I like it! Thanks!i
This is an interesting argument. maybe the bloggers and seach-engines appreciate it. We have to wait how the reactions are.
