I wouldn’t say “secrets”, but I will tell you my big plan to advertise a few websites ( BuzzBums, Gadget Loser, PhpBB Hacks, and Funny Loser ) starting on Monday I will be spending about $600 - $800 advertising these websites to help get them in serps and get some traffic to them. Now you have to remember that I own a network of websites, so all I have to do is get the traffic within the network, then it will work its way slowly throughout the whole network. So my overall plan is to advertise 2 or 3 big/huge/wow websites that get lots of traffic, then the traffic will snowball through the network.
What I am going to do starting next monday is invest some money into these newer websites to help get them going, and increase there SERP’s rankings. Fun huh? Totally…
Now everyone knows that organic traffic is the best thing right? I rather have 5000 hits from google than 50,000 hits from myspace any day. The reason being is that the traffic from site searches are looking for content, the traffic from myspace most likely clicked on one of my tricks links. So what my plan is to buy links and buy forums posts to help get the sites going in site searches.
I am also going to buy some advertising space on websites purely for the traffic. I will see how that goes. This is still kinda an experiment, all these sites I am advertising are new, so I need to see what fits them best advertising wise.
Now I bet you wanna know how I’m going to advertise ehh?
I will be putting 300$ into buying forum posts. I will have one of those forum posts sites make posts on OTHER forum websites. My anchor link will be in all the Sig’s, and that will help with serps and get some traffic from forums websites. The great thing about this is the fact that the posts will be there forever. Its not a month to month advertising plan….
I will also be dumping another 300$ into adbrite ads. I have heard good things about these. And I have been looking around and have found some very very CPM’s on some pretty quality websites. I have heard some good things about this from my buddie that loves to read my blog from tagworld.com 
I will also be putting another 100$ - 200$ in direct private ads. I have found some decent sites. However I cant tell you the sites for obvious reasons.
Here is it laid out:
Forum posts = $300
Adbrite = $300
Private = $200
I hope this works out. I don’t think that my ROI will be that high because I am going after the long run for the most part with this marketing. Also, if anyone has any experience with this stuff, post a comment and tell me some tips please

i dont think sig links will help serps cause of the no follow tag on forum software?
I have had decent results in the past with them. So im not sure the outcome. This is more like an experimant :-s haha
That buying forum post is a good ass idea and it is cheap, I might try that shit.
Ive Heard good things about AdBrite to, However, I Like the Idea of having my URL Puton the page, not through a script, so i get the full advantage of the PR, i am Looking into Buying advertising for my site now

You have to buy advertising space on sites that are like 95% related to your site. You can buy advertising space on sites that get 500k hits a day, but if its unrelated, you wont get that of a CTR and loose money that way.
What type of site are you wanting to advertise?
It is a Myspace site. Such as yours.
