Where Gonna Play A Little Game

Do you ever see those classified ads that say something like “Make $2000 a week from your home, go to www.jonwaraas.com” and “Lose weight today, go to www.jonwarass.com”? I see them all the time, in fact my local newspaper has a whole section devoted to those ads. Ever wounder if people are making money off them? I do..

So here is the little game that we are going to play at my expense. Im gonna buy a few newspaper ads, send them to CPA offers, and see if I can make money doing this.

I have been searching all day for ideas on how to make the most return on my investments. I think I figured it out. Im gonna buy a ad in the local thrifty nickel for like $6 (not sure the exact price) a week. Im gonna say that I have a Sony Wii or whatever the hell it is for sale. And just slip a small URL in the paper ad and send it to this offer. I make something like $1.60 everytime someone submits there email address.

My ad:

Nintendo Wii for sale, brand new, only $50 go to www.zickes.com!

Then zickes.com will 301 redirect to the CPA offer in the record time (I dont fuck around)

Then they will be interested and submit there emails. Yay..

Oh and about the “brand new” and the “only $50″ in the ad.. I put that there because that will certainly make someone want to click the ad even more, I know I dont have any morals…

Well we will certainly see how this works wont we. My ads will go in the newspaper next Thursday, so I will update everyone than.. :)

If you enjoyed this blog post than I think you should subscribe to the RSS feed. That way you can learn a lot more from me and laugh some more at my really bad grammar. Again, here is the link for the RSS feed.

This is evil…and I love it. Damn cheap advertising.

PS: Last time I put an ad in the Thrifty Nickel it was $7.50 I believe, just to give the other readers a more accurate number ;)

That’s a sneaky idea you’ve got there Jon. It will be interesting to see what sort of conversions you get. Coincidentally I’ve been thinking alot about offline advertising of late and have been thinking of trying out a few things myself. This one slipped my mind. I’m looking forward to seeing your update.

Awesome. I would venture to say in a months time you should make way more that 7.50 porlly closer to 5-600 hundred. I dont know what the conversion rate is on your referrals but damn good deal.

The offer is through http://affiliates.copeac.com/signup/2511 (use this to sign up or else). There are tons of ofher offers. Like PS3’s, xboxes, vicotra secret gift cards, etc.

semester3 - Im not sure about 5-600$. Im lookin at maybe $50. Im just advertising in the classifieds, if I did the accual newspaper, I would be up there. I need to test some stuff out before I start investing more..

Yeah I wasnt familiar in waht kind of scale your classified ad was….In my hometown. There would be no problem in getting atleast 300 dollars. Jus think of the possibilities to just classified ads to every major metro area. It wouldnt last forever but why the hell not. Im going to steal your idea. I believe someone wrote that most of the rich just copy everyone else and just tweak it…Ill get back to you. Go big or go broke.

My friend was doing this when I was in high school. He actually made a decent amount of money, I just laughed at him. Now I look at it and I think wow he was pretty smart.
